harder standard than most veteran programs apply, and it is the reason the roles we
represent are leadership roles with real compensation rather than an entry point
someone was talked into offering.

## Honest about the bar

A candidate who has proven themselves in three separate arenas rather than one: academic achievement, service in U.S. Special Operations, and a documented record of results in a civilian business role.

In practice that means we are the right firm for you if you are some years past
separation with commercial results you can point at — a P&L you ran, a team
you built, a number you moved. If you are at or near your transition date, a
transition organization will serve you better than we will right now, and we
will say so rather than string you along.

We would still rather hear from you early. Getting into the pool before you need
it is how you end up first in line for a role that is never posted.

What working with us looks like

- **One conversation, not a form response.** Someone who has done this reads your record and calls you.
- **A straight read on fit.** If a role is wrong for you we say so before you spend an evening on it.
- **Help translating the record.** Turning a service history into language a hiring committee reads correctly is most of the work.
